Meet the Team

The Consensus team comprises a number of customer service professionals, all of whom are able to rely on considerable experience gained in either senior executive or management positions with a variety of different companies.

Here are brief career resumes for some members of our team.

John Padden - Managing Director

John has over 20 years' customer service and claims experience, gained from management positions with Thomson Travel, ILG, Best Travel, Hogg Robinson, Going Places and Claims International.

John formed Consensus Service Management in 1998.

Simon West - Associate

After a six-year stint with P&O, Simon joined Hayes & Jarvis, where he was Customer Relations Manager for 14 years before joining Consensus in 1999.

He specialises in travel insurance/assistance claims, small claims litigation, in-house assignments, training and general consultancy.

Julia Davies - Associate

Although her career started overseas, Julia soon moved into managerial positions with Thomson Travel, Air Malta and P&O Cruises, where she was Customer Relations Manager for 10 years. Julia has worked with Consensus since 2003.
